General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine Announcement No. 136

According to the provisions of the "Administrative Measures for the Accreditation of Inspection Agencies Before the transfer of Imported Waste Raw Materials (Trial)", the National Marine Consultants, Inc., is approved by the State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine. (NMCI) and the North America Marine Surveyors Assn.(NAMSA) two companies as China's import of waste raw materials pre-shipment inspection agencies, and the announcement is as follows:

The above 2 companies can undertake the specified pre-shipment inspection business of waste raw materials from November 1, 2005。

The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine authorizes CCIC NORTH AMERICA INC. (hereinafter referred to as "CCIC North America") to supervise and manage NMCI and NAMSA's pre-shipment inspection of waste materials。

NMCI and NAMSA shall, in accordance with the requirements of China's environmental protection control standards for imported waste raw materials, conduct batch inspection of the waste raw materials they undertake to export to China, and submit inspection certificates to CCIC North America if qualified。CCIC North America will renew the certificate after verifying that it is correct。

NMCI and NAMSA shall accept the supervision and management of CCIC North America, and seriously undertake the corresponding responsibilities and obligations. If the problem is found in violation of the "Management Measures for the Approval of Inspection Agencies before the transfer of Imported Waste Raw Materials", it will be dealt with according to the corresponding provisions。
