Metrological calibration refers to the basic function of some electronic instruments for proofreading and measurement。Measurement is an activity to achieve unity of units and accurate and reliable quantity value。It involves the whole field of measurement, and according to the law, the measurement plays a guiding, supervising and guaranteeing role。

◆ Purpose of calibration:

Determine the indication error and determine whether it is within the expected tolerance range to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the measuring equipment。

The standard resistance of 1 ohms, although its standard value is 1 ohms, but after calibration its magnitude value is 0.9欧姆。 

The method of calibration is to measure the quantity to be calibrated using the measurement standard。

Calibration value: For example, the calibration value of the 1 Ohm standard resistor is 0.9欧姆。

Correction value: The correction value is the calibration value minus the standard value, for example, the correction value of a 1 ohm resistor is -0.1欧姆。
