Food Safety System Certification 22000 (FSSC 22000) is an audit and certification of food safety throughout the food supply chain,It is a certification scheme based on ISO,It is widely recognized internationally。  The advantage of FSSC 22000 certification is that it specifies the prerequisite program requirements for different industry categories of the food chain, and it is easy to be accepted, implemented and audited by organizations in different parts of the food supply chain。

FSSC 22000 is based on the existing ISO 22000, ISO 22003 standards and Industry Prerequisite Programme (PRP) technical specifications, and was developed after extensive and open consultation with a number of relevant organizations。ISO 22000 certified manufacturers can obtain FSSC 22000 certification, which is fully accepted by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), as long as they meet the additional requirements of the industry's PRP technical specifications and programs。

Once fully implemented, the FSSC 22000 standard becomes one of the GFSI-recognized conventional standards。This initiative will reduce procurement costs and increase consistency across the supply chain globally, while increasing end-user confidence in third-party certification and providing more flexibility and choice。Since its birth, FSSC22000 has won the favor of a number of international food manufacturing giants, not only requiring its subsidiaries to obtain FSSC22000 certification, but also obtaining FSSC22000 as a requirement in the supplier access system。At the same time, many international retailers have gradually adopted this global food safety certification as a standard in the supplier access system。

Certification covers manufacturers that process or manufacture animal products, perishable plant products, long-life products and (other) food ingredients (such as additives, vitamins and bio-culture products) and food packaging。
